In a simulated world on the brink of collapse, Kaila—an overworked intern—defies her corporate overlords to save an alien mother and child from captivity. But her rebellion sets off chaos, forcing her to risk everything to rewrite their fate. Scarcity or survival, suffering or freedom—it all comes down to one line of code.
